Manager/Buyer/Volunteer of the Year Awards

Each year, KAPPP recognizes members who have achieved hallmark status in the eyes of their peers. Members may nominate a peer for an award or self-nominate. The KAPPP Member Awards are designed to showcase your exemplary service and outstanding accomplishments and contributions to your entity, KAPPP, NIGP, and the profession as a whole.  This year's awards will be presented at the October Membership meeting (Annual Awards & Recognition Ceremony).  Please click on the below link by October 10th to submit your nomination.

 

  • The Manager of the Year should be a KAPPP member in good standing who has made significant contributions to the advancement of the purchasing profession. A Manager is defined as having supervisory or management responsibilities in the organization.
  • The Buyer of the Year should be a KAPPP member in good standing who has made significant contributions to the advancement of the purchasing profession. A Buyer is defined as having little or no supervisory or management responsibilities in the organization.
  • The Volunteer of the Year should be a KAPPP member in good standing who has made significant contributions to the advancement of the purchasing profession, their chapter, or other public procurement organizations through their volunteer efforts. The volunteer should demonstrate commitment to serving others without expectation of reward or recognition. The volunteer should provide mentorship, guidance, and support to individuals, fostering personal and collective growth.
